After three months and four days Think Different Event's bank account finally bulged with its first pay-in from a client - the Scottish Executive. As you can imagine, cash flow during these first three months has been a bit like travelling on a one way system with any savings I had slowly running down as all the necessary bills were paid and it was a relief to see all the work that we did during October and November finally pay off.
Hopefully it'll be the first of many in the coming months and years though I hope to improve the cash flow process by billing clients on a more regular basis as milestones are reached rather than just when the work is completed.
