No such thing as a free lunch - well maybe.

Just returned from a site visit to the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow where I met up with Grant MacGadie who handles all the Scottish Executive Accounts in Scotland. The venue was much better than I expected, though maybe that's because I hadn't been there for several years. There's been a massive investment in the hotel chain and it clearly showed. The suite of conference rooms available range in size from around 20 upto 1000 and they have some real nice touches which are included in the room and conference package, irrespective of the group size. Even managed to take lunch in Minsky's which was a bonus, and while there's no such thing as a free lunch, Grant didn't manage to commit me to any further events in Scotland's Hilton hotel chain - for now at least.
